In a ground-breaking new project, Surrey Police are pleased to introduce a Modern Slavery Victim Navigator to the force.

Surrey Police deals with a rising number of reports of modern slavery each year, with investigations of an increasingly complex and challenging nature.

The new role, supported by charity Justice and Care, is based within the Public Protection Support Unit at headquarters and has been introduced to work with those who have been rescued from slavery by helping them to understand their rights and choices and supporting them through the criminal justice system.
